🌿Good morning. This is my last week as Bath Garden Design. After nearly 23 years I am happy to announce that I am handing the reins over to @gardengenieservices and she will continue the work and develop our projects. Katrina will be bringing a new enthusiasm and drive to BGD and is going to be looking after all of my clients (in her excellent efficient way) and my team will continue to work alongside her. I am moving to East Sussex to live near my family and this week will be posting lots on here to say goodbye to Bath and my gardens and some of the people I have worked with too. These images are from my longest client of nearly ten years. It was my first really large garden and we have made many changes to it over the years. It also inspired me to do my masters degree at Bath University in the Conservation of Historic Gardens and Cultural Landscapes. Lots to see on stories this week as well. Have a great day!🌿

This entire project has been a labour of love as well as sweat and tears but it has been an absolute joy to see it come together over the last two years. Have a great day🌿

🌿Good morning from Bath. The struggle with Box Moth Caterpillar is real. Most of our gardens have topiary but we have stopped planting Buxus for the foreseeable. Gardens in and all around Bath have been attacked and we are doing our best to control them but it takes diligence and consistency! Luckily there are many other options available including Ilex crenata, Osmanthus, Pittosporum, Hebe, Yew and more. We have had success creating formal gardens without a single Buxus to be seen!
