The Old Mill

Nestled at the bottom of a valley, our Old Mill property is a tale of two halves. The front garden reflects all the grandeur of Georgian Bath, with its front entrance flagged with formal topiary and yew hedging and the rear of the property a more fitting farmhouse, with courtyard, and a charming terraced walled garden. The wider estate includes a woodland meadow with meandering streams and a natural pond and a large sloping meadow with panoramic views back towards the house.

 As part of our ongoing work here, we have edited the planting throughout the garden and incorporated wooden pergola walkways and arbours, developed the meadow and pond planting within the woodland area and we are currently creating pockets of wildflower meadow on the sloping field adjacent to the property. We also have further plans to create a new scheme for the walled garden, to help incorporate more of our clients favoured cottage style planting within the setting.
